Winery tours: Monday – Friday: 11:30, 1:30 & 3:30 Saturday & Sunday: 11:30. 1:30 & 3:30 The winery known as Rutherford Hill located in the Napa Valley of California is known for its high quality wines and in particular, the Merlot. The wines are aged in caves using oak barrels, making it a beautiful place to visit on the Silverado Trail that runs north and south along the valley's eastern side. The tasting room is open seven days a week. Picnic grounds are available on site. Buy some tasty gourmet foods in nearby Yountville and then some wine at Rutherford Hill, then you can enjoy the view of the valley. They are very good about giving tours of their process and caves. Tour groups are also welcome with reservations. A wine club with discounts of 15-25% on merchandise, premium wines and reorders is available and worth checking out because they include special recipes for food to pair with each of the wine shipments.
